About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly disciplined Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead and oversee the organization's end-to-end security operations. The ideal candidate will be an Ex-Serviceman with extensive experience in security management, surveillance, monitoring, and risk mitigation.

This role is critical in ensuring the safety of personnel, assets, infrastructure, and information, while maintaining strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage overall security operations across all company premises and facilities.

Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols (SOPs). Oversee monitoring and surveillance systems, including CCTV, access control, perimeter security, and alarm systems.

Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and threat mitigation planning.

Manage and train security personnel and supervisors, ensuring discipline, alertness, and operational readiness.

Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and regulatory authorities as required.

Investigate security incidents, breaches, or threats and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards, statutory security norms, and organizational guidelines.

Oversee visitor management, vehicle movement control, and material gate-pass systems.

Provide regular security status reports to senior management and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred (any discipline).

Relevant certifications in Security Management / Industrial Security will be an added advantage.

Experience

Ex-Serviceman (Army / Navy / Air Force / Paramilitary forces) is mandatory.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in security, surveillance, or monitoring roles.

Prior experience in industrial, corporate, defense, manufacturing, or infrastructure security preferred.

Proven experience in leading large security teams and managing multi-location security operations.
