Role:
As COO, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations, driving operational efficiency, and executing strategic initiatives to sustain growth and innovation. You will work closely with the CEO and other executive leaders to align operational goals with the company's vision.
Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end supply chain for the organization, encompassing both new and existing products.
Oversee all plant operations for product manufacturing and ensure operational excellence.
Develop and manage a robust vendor base, including onboarding new vendors for risk mitigation and product development.
Lead the installation team across India, ensuring timely project execution and quality standards.
Spearhead supply chain initiatives for new product development and collaborate with R&D teams.
Ensure compliance with environment, health, and safety measures at the plant and for the on-ground installation team.
Manage the blue-collar workforce across all plants and installation teams throughout India.
Must have experience traveling to China and managing supplier relationships in that region.
Proven experience in building a supply chain network in China, with a focus on efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Skills/ Attributes/ Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.
MBA in Operations Management is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience in operations management or related fields.
Proficiency in SAP and other relevant operating systems.
Experience managing teams of at least 30 people, with strong leadership skills.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
