Chief OHS&E Manager (Occupational Health, Safety & Environment)
Qualification: Any one of the following:
- M.E./M.Tech in Industrial Safety
- B.E. in Fire & Safety Engineering
- Engineering Degree + PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (CLI / RLI recognized institutes)
- Engineering Degree + International Certification such as CSP / NEBOSH
- Minimum 15 years experience in safety management in construction projects
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Health, Safety, and Environmental management system for metro construction sites.
- Develop and implement site safety procedures for civil construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and client safety requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments for construction works including structural, working at height, lifting operations, and heavy equipment usage.
- Monitor implementation of PPE usage and safe work practices at site.
- Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Organize safety trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for workers and supervisors.
- Promote a safe working environment and zero-accident culture in the project.
