About the Company

The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in driving business priorities, streamlining operations, and ensuring effective leadership alignment across the organization. This role requires strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to anticipate challenges while ensuring timely execution of key initiatives across functions.

About the Role

The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the CEO, playing a pivotal role in driving business priorities, streamlining operations, and ensuring effective leadership alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic initiatives on behalf of the CEO by ensuring timely planning, tracking, and implementation of business priorities.
  • Provide analytical and operational support to the CEO through data-driven insights, reports, and presentations.
  • Partner with cross-functional heads (Retail, Buying & Merchandising, Operations, HR, Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to ensure alignment with the organizational strategy.
  • Lead CEO Office operations track strategic projects, follow up on key decisions, and manage stakeholder communication.
  • Prepare business performance dashboards, review decks, and briefing notes for internal and external meetings.
  • Support board and leadership reviews by coordinating data and inputs from multiple departments.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and senior leadership, ensuring smooth communication and effective decision-making.
  • Manage special projects and transformation initiatives impacting growth, digital adoption, and efficiency improvement.
  • Represent the CEO in internal discussions and project reviews, ensuring consistency of messaging and direction.
  • Support leadership hiring, talent planning, and organizational communication in partnership with HR.

Qualifications

  • MBA from a reputed business school (preferred specialization in Strategy, Retail, or Operations).
  • 35 years of total experience in a strategic, consulting, or business management role.
  • Exposure to retail, consumer, or lifestyle sectors will be a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience in supporting CXO-level executives or managing large-scale strategic initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Strategic thinking and structured problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High sense of ownership, collaboration, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix organization.
  • Proficiency in business analytics, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to retail, consumer, or lifestyle sectors will be a strong advantage.
