About the role

The Chief of Staff is of strategic importance, catalysing executive effectiveness, organisational alignment, and development. From high-energy startups to large-scale businesses, this role needs to serve as a key collaborator to the Leadership, making sure priorities are executed, and strategic projects remain on track.

As a Chief of Staff, you will work very closely with senior leaders, mainly the Head of Americas.

Your main job will be to:

  • Help leaders stay focused on important work
  • Make sure plans are executed
  • Keep projects, people, and communication aligned

This role is a mix of:

  • Strategy support
  • Executive Assistant work
  • Business operations

You help leaders by taking care of planning, coordination, and follow-ups so they can focus on big decisions.

Working Hours

You will work from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am IST.

This timing helps you work live with US teams.

You should be comfortable managing your time and working independently.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Help leaders define long-term goals
  • Make sure goals are clear, measurable, and aligned across teams
  • Remove blockers so teams can execute

Executive & Operational Support

  • Organise town halls and internal meetings
  • Prepare agendas and presentations
  • Manage calendars, travel, and expenses
  • Take routine work off leaders plates

Communication

  • Clearly explain company goals to teams
  • Share the right information with the right people
  • Help leaders make faster and better decisions

Project Management

  • Manage cross-team projects
  • Track progress, risks, and deadlines
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time

Decision Support

  • Do research and prepare summaries for leaders
  • Provide data and insights to support decisions
  • Act as a second opinion for leadership

Presentations

  • Improve PowerPoint slides for clarity and impact
  • Ensure presentations are professional and easy to understand

Meetings

  • Plan executive meetings
  • Set agendas and track action items
  • Ensure follow-ups actually happen

Stakeholder Management

  • Work directly with senior leaders, teams, and partners
  • Collect updates and push work forward without always involving the CEO
  • Maintain alignment across teams

Must-have Experience

  • 710 years of experience in IT services, consulting, SaaS, or operations/strategy roles
  • Worked closely with CXO-level leaders
  • Led cross-functional projects
  • Experience working with US clients
  • Comfortable working across time zones
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience in fast-growing, changing environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Engineering, IT, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and business thinking
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Comfortable with unclear situations
  • Skilled with tools like Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, CRM tools

Nice to have

  • Previous Chief of Staff or CEO Office experience
  • MBA or similar degree
  • Project management certifications (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP or ServiceNow
  • Exposure to sales ops, M&A, or global expansion
