Job Description: Chief Marketing Officer (Equity-Based) – KefiloRole Overview
We are looking for a
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who will lead
brand, growth, and market expansion for Kefilo. This is a
founding leadership role with end-to-end ownership of how Kefilo is
positioned, trusted, and scaled across both
B2C and B2B channels.
This is not a campaign role — you will be responsible for building a
category-defining health transformation brand, driving
user acquisition, retention, and long-term brand equity.
Equity Structure (Important)
- This is a pure equity-based leadership role (no fixed compensation initially)
- 3–4 rounds of discussions → 1-month NDA-based working cohort → Leadership/cofounder agreement
- Equity finalized post funding & Pvt. Ltd. registration
- 5-year vesting structure
- Fixed compensation begins post funding
- You will be part of the core leadership team building Kefilo from ground up
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Vision & Strategy (Core Focus)
- Define and own the overall marketing vision and roadmap for Kefilo
- Build integrated strategies across branding, performance marketing, content, partnerships, and distribution
- Align marketing with product, operations, and expansion strategy
- Brand Building & Category Creation
- Position Kefilo as a health transformation brand, not a food delivery company
- Build a strong brand identity centered around outcomes and trust
- Ensure consistency across all digital and offline touchpoints
- Growth & Performance Marketing
- Lead end-to-end growth strategy across digital channels (Meta, Google, etc.)
- Design structured funnels for acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Optimize CAC, LTV, and overall marketing efficiency
- Content, Storytelling & Authority
- Build a strong content ecosystem around health, transformation, and real outcomes
- Lead storytelling across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms
- Use case studies, user journeys, and expert-led content to drive trust and engagement
- Go-To-Market & Launch Strategy
- Lead marketing for new programs, products, and city launches
- Design and execute high-impact go-to-market strategies
- Ensure strong adoption and positioning from day one
- Partnerships & Distribution Marketing
- Build marketing strategies around B2B partnerships (doctors, gyms, corporates, institutions)
- Leverage influencers, affiliates, and local marketing for scalable distribution
- Work closely with franchise teams to support city-level expansion
- Retention, Community & Brand Advocacy
- Build systems for user retention, engagement, and community building
- Drive referrals, word-of-mouth, and organic growth loops
- Ensure long-term customer lifetime value and loyalty
- Team Building & Leadership
- Build and lead the marketing team across content, performance, and brand functions
- Define structure, roles, and processes for a scalable marketing organization
- Foster a culture of experimentation, ownership, and execution
- Data-Driven Decision Making
- Track and analyze marketing performance across channels
- Use insights to refine strategy, messaging, and growth efforts
- Continuously improve efficiency and ROI
Who Should Apply
- 6–12+ years experience in marketing, brand building, or growth leadership roles
- Proven track record in scaling D2C, food, health, or consumer brands
- Strong understanding of performance marketing + brand building balance
- Experience in B2C and B2B marketing environments
- Prior experience in startup or high-growth environments
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities
