Kefilo is building a next-generation food and wellness brand focused on meal transformation journeys, smart kiosks, hospital food solutions, and scalable nutrition ecosystems. The vision is to create a category-defining brand that combines health, convenience, and innovation, and scales across multiple cities through strong systems and brand recall.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who will own end-to-end branding and marketing for Kefilo, from zero to scale. This role is not just about campaigns—it's about building a powerful, differentiated brand in a crowded food market.

You will work directly with the founder to shape brand positioning, storytelling, customer acquisition, and long-term brand equity.

This is an equity-based role, ideal for someone with 8+ years of experience who wants to build and own the marketing engine of a high-growth startup.

Key Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Define and build Kefilo's brand identity, voice, and positioning
  • Create a clear differentiation strategy in the food and wellness space
  • Ensure consistent branding across all touchpoints (online + offline)
  • End-to-End Marketing Ownership
  • Lead all aspects of digital, offline, performance, and growth marketing
  • Build and execute customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Own marketing funnels across B2C (subscriptions, meals) and B2B (hospitals, institutions)
  • Content & Community Building
  • Drive high-impact content strategy (social media, podcasts, storytelling, educational content)
  • Build a strong community around health transformation and lifestyle change
  • Position Kefilo as a thought leader in food + wellness
  • Growth & Experimentation
  • Design and run rapid experiments for growth (offers, campaigns, partnerships)
  • Identify high-ROI channels and scale what works
  • Optimize CAC, retention, and lifetime value of customers
  • Offline & On-Ground Marketing
  • Build marketing strategies for:
    • Kiosks and stalls
    • Hospital partnerships
    • Events and activations
  • Ensure strong local market penetration in each city
  • Team Building & Leadership
  • Build and lead a marketing team across content, performance, and branding
  • Work with freelancers, agencies, and internal team members
  • Set up systems for scalable marketing execution
  • Founder-Level Collaboration
  • Work closely with the founder on vision, storytelling, and growth strategy
  • Contribute to fundraising narratives and brand positioning for investors
Who Should Apply

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, branding, or growth roles
  • Proven experience in building or scaling a brand (preferably in F&B, D2C, or consumer startups)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content, and brand strategy
  • Ability to think both strategically and execute hands-on
  • Experience in early-stage or fast-scaling startups is highly preferred
