Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead brand building,

customer engagement, and multi-channel growth for one of India's leading jewellery houses. The

CMO will be the architect of marketing excellencecrafting a globally trusted brand, scaling both

offline and online channels, and embedding technology, automation, and AI into marketing

execution.

This role demands resilience in a fast-evolving luxury market, an execution-first mindset, and a deep

understanding of digital and physical consumer journeys. From expanding retail presence in prime

locations and airports to accelerating online jewellery sales, the CMO will drive innovation,

influence, and measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing & Insights

Define and execute a data-driven marketing roadmap aligned with business growth goals.

Leverage analytics, AI, and automation to predict consumer trends and outpace competitors.

Continuously evaluate market dynamics to refine positioning and maximize brand edge.

Brand Development & Storytelling

Position the brand as a global benchmark in jewellery, highlighting heritage, craftsmanship,

and trust.

Build campaigns that resonate across cultures and demographics, fueling aspiration and

loyalty.

Maintain consistent premium messaging across retail, digital, and experiential platforms.

Digital & E-commerce Growth

Drive online retail expansion, particularly for small-ticket, fast-moving jewellery categories.

Implement omni-channel strategies ensuring a seamless transition between online and

offline experiences.

Use AI-led personalization, CRM, and marketing automation to enhance conversions and

retention.

Lead new store rollouts, pop-ups, and exhibitions that reinforce luxury positioning.

Influencer & Event Strategy

Forge collaborations with celebrities, influencers, and cultural icons that amplify brand

presence.

Oversee participation in high-profile national and international exhibitions, delivering

immersive experiences.

Customer Engagement & Loyalty

Build loyalty programs powered by insights and personalization.

Create premium customer journeys that deepen emotional connection and repeat purchases.

Financial & ROI Management

Manage the marketing budget with discipline, focusing on ROI and sustainable growth.

Continuously optimize spend across digital, retail, and experiential channels.

Leverage analytics to track customer journeys and improve NPS and repeat purchase rates.

Attributes of the Ideal Candidate

Key Quality:

MBA in Marketing (Tier-1/Top institutes preferred).

15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles in

luxury retail, jewellery, or allied industries.

Strong record in building premium brands, leading digital campaigns, and growing e-

commerce sales.

Expertise in omni-channel strategy, customer insights, and experiential marketing.

Adept at scaling marketing through technology, automation, and data analytics.
