Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). The CISO will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive information security strategies to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and preventing potential cybersecurity threats. The role will include overseeing information security policies, conducting risk assessments, managing business continuity planning, overseeing application security, and leading cybersecurity initiatives across the organization to mitigate risks effectively.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Information Security Management, Information Security, and cybersecurity practices
• Expertise in Business Continuity planning and implementation
• Strong background in Application Security and implementing secure software solutions
• Proven experience in overseeing organisational cybersecurity strategy and leadership
• strong experience in Cloud security, cybersecurity architecture and various frameworks and standards like NIST, ISO etc.
• GRC and understanding of various global regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Risk management, register etc.
• IT/OT security.
• Experience with industries such as Rapacious, construction, manufacturing etc.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and risk assessment methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage teams and deliver results under tight schedules
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
