Job Title: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned and strategic Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the HR function of our tyre manufacturing organization based in Pune. The CHRO will play a key role in driving workforce strategies, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals in a dynamic and competitive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company's mission and business objectives.
  • Partner with the executive team to drive strategic initiatives and workforce planning.
  1. Talent Management:
  • Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition, ensuring a pipeline of skilled professionals for manufacturing and corporate functions.
  • Lead initiatives for employee development, succession planning, and leadership grooming.
  1. Employee Engagement and Culture:
  • Foster a high-performance culture emphasizing innovation, quality, and collaboration.
  • Implement employee engagement programs to improve retention and satisfaction.
  1. Compensation and Benefits:
  • Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs aligned with industry standards.
  • Conduct benchmarking to ensure the company remains an employer of choice.
  1. Industrial Relations (IR):
  • Maintain strong industrial relations and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Address grievances and work collaboratively with unions to ensure smooth operations.
  1. Compliance and Governance:
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, safety standards, and corporate governance policies.
  • Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes impacting the workforce.
  1. Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Drive initiatives that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Monitor and report on diversity metrics and progress.
  1. HR Technology and Analytics:
  • Leverage HR technology to streamline processes and improve decision-making.
  • Use analytics to forecast workforce trends and measure HR performance.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Proven expertise in industrial relations, talent management, and workforce planning.
