Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the human capital strategy of our banking organization based in Mumbai. The CHRO will play a pivotal role in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational growth, while ensuring alignment of HR policies with regulatory requirements and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic HR Leadership:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, vision, and objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on all HR-related matters.
  1. Talent Acquisition and Management:
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the banking sector.
  • Oversee succession planning, leadership development, and talent retention programs.
  1. Employee Engagement and Culture:
  • Foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Design and implement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.
  1. Compensation and Benefits:
  • Develop competitive and compliant compensation structures aligned with industry standards.
  • Oversee the design and management of employee benefits programs.
  1. Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure the organization's HR policies and practices comply with banking regulations and labor laws.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and their implications.
  1. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Implement DEI programs and track measurable outcomes.
  1. HR Operations and Technology:
  • Leverage HR technology and analytics to optimize processes and decision-making.
  • Ensure the seamless operation of HR systems, including payroll, performance management, and employee lifecycle management.

  • Drive learning initiatives to upskill employees and meet future business needs.
  • Establish a culture of continuous professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role in the banking or financial services sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, banking regulations, and compliance requirements.
