Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned CHRO strictly from the diagnostics/healthcare industry to lead the people strategy for a fast-scaling diagnostics organization. This role requires deep domain understanding of diagnostic operations, including lab workforce, phlebotomy networks, and field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive HR strategy aligned with the growth of a diagnostics-led business
- Lead large-scale hiring across lab technicians, pathologists, phlebotomists, operations, and support functions
- Build and scale workforce models for labs, collection centers, and home collection networks
- Partner with business leaders to support rapid expansion across cities and regions
- Drive performance management, productivity, and retention within diagnostic operations
- Develop strong leadership pipelines for lab operations and regional teams
- Ensure compliance with healthcare and diagnostics-specific regulations, certifications, and labor laws
- Strengthen HR processes, policies, and systems tailored to diagnostics business needs
- Drive employee engagement across field-heavy and shift-based workforce
Key Requirements (MANDATORY):
- 15+ years of HR experience with current/recent experience in diagnostics/Healthcare companies ONLY
- Must have worked with diagnostic chains/lab networks (non-healthcare/non-hospital profiles will NOT be considered)
- Proven experience in scaling HR for diagnostics operations (labs + field collection teams)
- Strong experience in hiring and managing clinical diagnostic workforce
- Experience managing large, distributed, and operationally intensive teams
- Strong understanding of compliance specific to diagnostics/lab operations
Preferred:
- Experience in high-growth diagnostics startups or large diagnostic chains
- Exposure to pan-India multi-location expansion
- MBA in HR or equivalent
