Client:Leading reputed beverages manufacturer of a well known brand with multiple manufacturing sites in India & abroad.
Role Purpose:
Lead the company's overall financial strategy and governance across manufacturing plants and sales operations. This is a complete unit CFO role, responsible for ensuring financial health, driving profitability, managing risk, and supporting sustainable business growth in a capital-intensive beverage manufacturing environment.The CFO will be a key strategic partner to the MD and Board, contributing to long-term value creation while managing complex cost structures, supply chains, and regulatory requirements specific to the beverage/FMCG sector.
KEY DRIVERS:
- Financial Planning & Strategy
- Develop and execute short- and long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to drive growth and profitability.
- Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making across plant and sales operations.
2.Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP/IFRS, GST, corporate tax laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Manage internal and external audits and regulatory filings (including SEBI regulations, if applicable).
3.Cost Management & Profitability
- Lead cost optimization initiatives across raw materials, packaging, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Conduct detailed margin, cost, and profitability analysis by product group.
- Drive efficiency improvements across plant operations and supply chain.
4.Treasury, Cash Flow & Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and liquidity.
- Optimize capital structure and evaluate CAPEX and investment opportunities.
- Strengthen controls over receivables, payables, and inventory management.
5.Risk Management
- Identify and mitigate financial risks including interest rate, currency, and operational risks.
- Establish robust financial controls and risk management frameworks.
6.Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Support strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, joint ventures, and expansions.
- Lead due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, and post-merger integration.
7.Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary interface with investors, lenders, auditors, regulators, and other key stakeholders.
- Communicate financial performance, risks, and strategic plans clearly and effectively.
INCUMBENT:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1520 years of senior financial leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG, with strong exposure to plant economics and co-packer models.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, financial software, and analytics tools
- Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements impacting the beverage industry
