This role is for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a rapidly growing manufacturing company that is preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance leader responsible for overseeing all financial functions, managing banking relationships, handling treasury, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Audit: Lead the accounting function, including the compilation of quarterly and annual accounts. Be well-versed in accounting standards, practices, and direct/indirect tax laws, and manage interactions with statutory and internal auditors.
- Banking & Finance: Manage and develop banking relationships. Possess knowledge of various lending types, including project finance and working capital assessment, and lead negotiations with banks and other lenders.
- Treasury & Funds: Oversee Foreign Exchange and Treasury and Funds management.
- Planning & Reporting: Lead budgetary planning and controls, design and maintain a robust MIS (Management Information System), and provide appropriate reporting to the Board of Directors. Experience in conducting Board and shareholder meetings is an advantage.
- Compliance & Legal: Have a reasonable understanding of corporate laws and labor laws to ensure compliance. Be able to resolve issues by interacting with agencies, consultants, and legal advisors.
- Communication & Coordination: Communicate effectively with statutory authorities, market analysts, investors, and top management. Ensure smooth interaction and coordination with other departmental functions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and compliance.
- Proven ability in banking relationship management, project finance, and treasury management.
- Expertise in budgetary planning, MIS design, and reporting.
- Experience with IPO management or working in a listed company is highly desirable.
