Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) Experience: 12+ Years Reporting To: CEO / Board of Directors

Role Summary

The CFO will lead the organization's overall financial strategy, governance, and compliance. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to partner with the CEO and Board to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Lead overall financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and Board for business decision-making

Oversee statutory compliance, taxation, audits, and regulatory requirements

Manage cash flow, working capital, treasury, and fund utilization

Lead financial controls, risk management, and internal audit frameworks

Handle fundraising, banking relationships, investors, and lenders

Drive financial governance, cost optimization, and profitability improvement

Oversee finance, accounts, taxation, and compliance teams

Technical & Key Skills

Strong expertise in Accounting Standards (Ind AS / IFRS)

In-depth knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxation (Income Tax, GST)

Experience in statutory, internal, and tax audits

Strong command over financial modeling, MIS, and business analytics

Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Sound understanding of corporate laws, FEMA, and regulatory frameworks

Experience in fundraising, debt structuring, and investor management

Excellent risk management and internal control capabilities

Experience & Competencies

12+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles

Proven experience working closely with senior management and Board members

Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills

High integrity, strategic mindset, and commercial acumen

Excellent communication and presentation skills
