Job Title: CEO/ Business Head / Retail Head Home Dcor /
Position Summary
The Business Head / Retail Head will be responsible for driving the overall business strategy, revenue growth, and operational excellence of the retail business. This role will lead multi-store operations, oversee P&L performance, strengthen brand presence, and scale the business across regions while ensuring a premium customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
- Define and execute business strategy to achieve sales, profitability, and expansion targets.
- Identify new markets, store locations, and growth opportunities within home dcor / retail.
- Lead annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
P&L & Financial Management
- Own complete P&L responsibility and drive sustainable profitability.
- Optimize costs, margins, pricing strategies, and inventory efficiency.
- Monitor financial performance and take corrective actions as needed.
Retail Operations Leadership
- Oversee end-to-end retail operations across all stores and regions.
- Ensure SOPs, processes, and operational standards are consistently implemented.
- Improve store productivity, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
Sales & Performance Management
- Drive sales performance across stores, categories, and channels.
- Monitor KPIs such as conversion, average ticket size, sell-through, and store productivity.
- Implement strategies to improve footfall, conversion, and repeat business.
Merchandising & Inventory Oversight
- Work closely with buying, merchandising, and planning teams on assortment strategy.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels, stock availability, and ageing control.
- Drive effective replenishment and markdown strategies.
Customer Experience & Brand Building
- Ensure consistent, premium customer experience aligned with brand values.
- Strengthen brand positioning and in-store experience.
- Use customer feedback to improve service quality and loyalty.
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior retail, operations, and support teams.
- Build a performance-driven, customer-centric culture.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and team engagement.
Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with marketing teams on campaigns, promotions, and store launches.
- Collaborate with supply chain, finance, HR, and design teams for seamless execution.
Key Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in Retail / Home Dcor / Lifestyle / Furniture industry.
- Proven experience in heading business units or large retail operations.
- Strong P&L ownership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in multi-store, multi-city retail environments preferred
