Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to extend the company's vision & mission to promote revenue, profitability, and end-to-end growth of the RP Business
- Lead overall manufacturing strategy & operations, forecast & budgeting, manufacturing excellence, system building, Inventory management, Profit & Loss account, Risk management and business development for the RP Business
- Maintaining awareness of the competitive market landscape, expansion opportunities, industry developments and maintaining high social responsibility for company wherever it does business.
- Devising new strategies to position Rolled-Products above market competition as one of the topmost desirable products with superior quality.
- Responsible for end-to-end management of Rolled Products business to deliver the targeted EBIDTA with Techno Commercial and Techno Market expertise.
- Implementation of Safe operations and maintenance practices, Environment and Sustainability guidelines as per Vedanta Sustainability and Assurance Program (VSAP).
- Responsible for increasing overall Productivity, optimizing overall Cost of Production of Rolled Products and responsible for profit & Loss of company at benchmark standards in compliance with statutory obligations.
- To achieve Business plan targets of Volume, Specifics, Recovery and Quality and Increase product portfolio with new products.
- Work closely for market penetration along with marketing team to ensure availability and supply of Rolled Products maintaining continuous quality and quantity.
- Ensuring Performance oriented, inspired workforce along with upgradation of key skills required for achieving success of the RP business
Qualification & Desired Attributes:
- The incumbent should be a BE/BTech graduate (preferably Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineer)
- Minimum 25 years of experience in aluminium rolling
- Strong expertise in establishing and enhancing brand presence, and identifying opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
