Role Overview
We are seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial, and execution-driven CEO to lead and scale the Wastewater Management Division into a ₹1000 Cr+ revenue business with strong profitability, governance, and global relevance.
This role requires a strong commercial leader who can personally drive strategic business development, unlock large deals, and build a predictable, high-quality revenue engine.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute a 5–10 year growth strategy to achieve ₹1000 Cr+ scale
- Establish market leadership across industrial, municipal, and ZLD segments
- Expand geographic footprint across India, Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia
Business Development & Sales Leadership
- Drive overall revenue growth strategy and sales transformation across EPC, O&M, and technology solutions
- Personally lead and anchor large, strategic deals (government, industrial, and infrastructure projects)
- Build and scale a high-performance sales organization across regions and verticals
- Develop strong pipelines across municipal tenders, industrial clients, and international markets
- Strengthen key account management for large corporates and public sector clients
- Establish partnerships with EPC contractors, consultants, and global technology providers to drive deal flow
- Improve bid strategy, win ratios, and pricing discipline in competitive tenders
- Drive entry into new markets and segments through structured go-to-market strategies
- Build a robust order book and long-term revenue visibility
Business & P&L Ownership
- Own full P&L, EBITDA, and balance sheet performance
- Drive capital efficiency, cash flow optimization, and margin expansion
- Scale revenues across EPC, O&M, and technology-led solutions
- Lead M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships
Sustainability & Innovation
- Champion ESG-aligned solutions and circular water economy models
- Drive adoption of advanced technologies (membrane, biological, digital/AI-led monitoring)
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with government bodies, regulators, investors, and global partners
- Position the organization as a preferred partner for large-scale infrastructure projects
Organizational Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performance leadership team
- Drive a culture of accountability, agility, and innovation
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education
- Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
- MBA or global exposure preferred
Experience
- 18–25+ years in water/wastewater, environmental engineering, or infrastructure
- Proven leadership of large P&L-driven businesses
- Strong track record in business development, sales, and order book growth
- Experience managing ₹500 Cr+ balance sheet
- Demonstrated success in scaling businesses toward ₹1000 Cr+ revenue
- Minimum 5+ years leadership experience in India
- Exposure to global markets (MEA, Africa, Europe, APAC)
- Background in EPC, water-tech, or environmental services
