Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for driving the strategic vision, business growth, operational excellence, and long-term success of Jetking.

This role requires an exceptional leader with a proven track record of scaling businesses within the Education, EdTech, Skill Development, Vocational Training, Higher Education, or Learning & Development sectors.

The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors, leadership team, franchise partners, corporate partners, universities, and other stakeholders to drive growth, profitability, innovation, and organizational transformation.

Important

Candidates must have significant senior leadership experience in the Education, EdTech, Skill Development, Vocational Training, Higher Education, Training, Certification, or Learning industry.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
  • Define and execute the company's long-term vision and growth strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Lead organizational transformation and innovation initiatives.
  • Drive expansion across India and international markets.
  • Develop strategic alliances with universities, industry partners, government agencies, and corporate organizations.

Education Business Leadership
  • Lead the growth and expansion of Jetking's education and skill development business.
  • Drive student admissions, enrolments, retention, and placement outcomes.
  • Strengthen academic delivery, learning quality, and student satisfaction.
  • Develop new education programs aligned with emerging technologies and industry demands.
  • Ensure curriculum relevance and employability-focused training.
  • Build relationships with universities, colleges, accreditation bodies, and industry associations.

Business Growth & Revenue
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and shareholder value.
  • Develop and implement scalable business models.
  • Monitor key business performance indicators and growth metrics.
  • Ensure achievement of annual and long-term business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion.

Franchise & Partner Management
  • Strengthen and expand Jetking's franchise network.
  • Build strong relationships with franchise partners and stakeholders.
  • Improve franchise performance, operational standards, and business outcomes.
  • Support franchise growth initiatives and partner success programs.

Operational Excellence
  • Provide leadership across all business functions.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Drive process improvement and performance management initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory requirements.

Leadership & Talent Development
  • Build and lead a high-performing executive leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Establish leadership succession and organizational development programs.

Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary representative of the company with investors, shareholders, partners, regulators, and media.
  • Present business performance and strategic initiatives to the Board of Directors.
  • Strengthen the company's reputation and market position.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the education ecosystem.

Innovation & Digital Transformation
  • Lead the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies across the organization.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Explore innovative education delivery models and business opportunities.
  • Position Jetking as a leader in future-ready technology education.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Finance, Education, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a CEO, Managing Director, President, COO, Business Head, or equivalent senior leadership role.
  • Mandatory experience in the Education, EdTech, Skill Development, Vocational Training, Higher Education, Training, Certification, or Learning industry.
  • Proven track record of scaling education businesses and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience managing multi-location operations, training centres, educational institutions, or franchise networks.
  • Strong understanding of admissions, student lifecycle management, academic operations, placements, and business development.
  • Demonstrated success in leading large teams and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Mandatory Industry Experience
