We are seeking an experienced Chief Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide scalable technology solutions that drive innovation, efficiency, and strategic alignment across the organization. This role focuses on architecting end-to-end systems, ensuring technology governance, seamless integration, and optimal performance across diverse platforms, with a strong emphasis on data engineering and advanced data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Enterprise Architecture: Define and implement scalable, distributed systems architecture that aligns with organizational goals and supports business growth.
- Data Engineering Leadership: Oversee the design and implementation of robust data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses, ensuring efficient data flow and storage.
- Technology Strategy: Develop and execute technology strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and future scalability.
- System Integration: Design and oversee the integration of complex systems, ensuring seamless interoperability across platforms and technologies.
- Data Pipelines: Architect and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to handle large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and storage, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Governance Frameworks: Establish and enforce governance frameworks, including policies for security, compliance, and technology standards.
- Data Quality and Monitoring: Implement data quality measures and monitoring tools to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.
- Cloud Solutions: Architect enterprise solutions leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), ensuring cost-efficiency, scalability, and integration with data engineering workflows.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business leaders, to align technology architecture with organizational needs.
- Innovation and Optimization: Stay ahead of emerging technologies, driving innovation and optimizing systems for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Required Skills:
- Architectural Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level architectures across diverse technologies.
- Data Engineering Expertise: Hands-on experience with building and optimizing data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses using big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
- Technology Governance: Strong knowledge of governance frameworks and tools to ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence.
- Cloud Platforms: Expertise in cloud-based solutions (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native tools for data engineering workflows.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for system development and data processing.
- Database Knowledge: Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including their design, optimization, and integration with data pipelines.
- Data Quality: Proficiency in implementing data quality measures and tools (e.g., Apache Griffin, Talend, or Informatica).
- Problem-solving: Exceptional analytical skills for troubleshooting and optimizing complex systems.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams, driving collaboration and innovation.
Preferred:
- Certifications in enterprise architecture, data engineering, or cloud technologies (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Big Data Specialty).
- Experience with AI/ML integration, MLOps pipelines, and advanced analytics workflows.
- Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage tools, and advanced data governance platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation).
- Familiarity with global compliance standards such as GDPR, CCPA, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Expertise in real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Flink, Kafka Streams).
