Chief Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

1.Financial Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement with the group's financial strategy aligned with organizational goals.

Oversee multi-school budgeting, forecasting, and fund allocations to ensure fiscal stability and growth.

2.Budgeting & Cost Optimization

Lead annual budgeting processes and quarterly reforecasts with the CEO and school heads.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising academic or operational quality.

3.Financial Reporting

Present dashboards that translate financial trends into actionable business intelligence.

4.Governance, Compliance & Audit

Oversee statutory compliance (GDT, PF, Income Tax, FCRA, etc.) across all entities.

Liaise with auditors, ensuring zero non-compliance and timely closure of audit observations.

5.Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Monitor receivables, payables, and liquidity to maintain healthy cash flows positions.

Ensure financial discipline in fee collection cycles, vendor payments, and capital expenditure.

6.Systems, Controls & Digitalization

Establish internal SOPs to ensure uniform accounting standards across branches.

7.Team Leadership & Capability Development

Mentor the Finance Team towards accuracy, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Build cross-functional alignment with HR, Academics, and Operations on financial accountability.

B Com Graduate, MBA Finance or similar educational Qualifications

Location : Thane preferred

Salary : 70-80 k per month

Experience : 10-15 years
