Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Chemistry Teacher at Mondrian High. The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and concept-driven Chemistry lessons for Grades 7 to 12.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering effective theory and laboratory sessions
- Preparing lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Assessing student progress through assignments, practical work, and examinations
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and inquiry-based classroom environment
- Mentoring students and participating in school activities
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the academic experience
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Chemistry
- Experience teaching middle and senior school students (Grades 712 preferred)
- Excellent teaching and communication skills
- Knowledge of laboratory safety and practical handling
- Student-centered, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
- Relevant degree and teaching certification in Chemistry or related field
- Experience with the Cambridge curriculum will be preferred
