About the Role

We are looking for a Chemistry Expert (PhD) – Freelancer to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on chemical sciences, molecular understanding, and applied chemistry domains.

In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry, helping improve how AI models interpret chemical concepts, reactions, and real-world applications.

You will collaborate with global AI and research teams to assess the accuracy, consistency, and scientific rigor of AI-generated solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for scientific discovery, education, and industrial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including reaction mechanisms, chemical analysis, and problem-solving approaches
  • Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to chemistry concepts, reactions, and applications
  • Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
  • Diagnose and solve complex chemistry problems to improve AI reasoning capabilities
  • Assess AI outputs for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and domain relevance
  • Identify incorrect assumptions, incomplete reasoning, or safety concerns in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
  • Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on chemical sciences

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
  • Strong foundation in one or more areas such as organic, inorganic, physical, or analytical chemistry
  • Ability to critically evaluate chemical reactions, mechanisms, and theoretical concepts
  • Experience in research, publications, or applied chemistry is preferred
  • Familiarity with laboratory practices, chemical safety, and data interpretation
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
