We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and the ability to create delicious and innovative dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and quality standards.
- Manage kitchen operations including inventory control and food safety.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and food preparation.
- Create new menu items and modify existing recipes as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and apprentices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role (1-10 years of experience).
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to manage a team and communicate effectively.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Certification in culinary arts or related field preferred.
