Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie (CDP) who specialises in Indian and Chinese cuisine to join our kitchen team. The candidate will be responsible for managing their section and delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Indian and Chinese kitchen section independently
- Prepare and present dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and portioning
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control
- Coordinate with the head chef/sous chef for smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure timely preparation during peak service hours
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Indian and Chinese cuisine
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, sauces, and preparation methods
- Ability to manage kitchen operations efficiently
- Good leadership and team handling skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
