Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Chef de Partie specializing in Pastry and Bakery, located in Bengaluru. The role involves preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and bakery items using innovative recipes while maintaining high standards of quality. Responsibilities include overseeing the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and cleanliness, managing and training junior staff, monitoring stock levels, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in pastry and bakery techniques, including working with dough, cakes, chocolates, and plated desserts.
  • Creative skills in menu planning, recipe development, and presentation of unique and visually appealing desserts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and precision in food preparation, along with knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to lead and train junior kitchen staff, maintaining strong communication and teamwork within the kitchen.
  • Relevant educational background or certifications in Culinary Arts, with specialization in Pastry and Bakery preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in professional kitchens, especially in a high-volume or fine-dining environment, is advantageous.
