Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie Bakery and Pastry, located in Roorkee. The primary responsibilities include preparing, baking, and presenting high-quality bakery and pastry dishes. The role involves supervising and guiding a small team of pastry cooks, ensuring quality standards, and managing inventory of baking ingredients. The Chef De Partie will also collaborate with the culinary team to develop and introduce new bakery and dessert recipes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in bakery and pastry preparation, plating, and presentation
- Strong understanding of baking techniques, flavor combinations, and textures
- Experience in managing a team, scheduling tasks, and ensuring kitchen efficiency
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and quality control measures
- Creativity to design and innovate new dessert and pastry recipes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work under pressure
- Culinary degree or certification in bakery and pastry arts is preferred
- Prior experience in a professional pastry kitchen, especially in restaurant settings, is highly desirable
