Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Chatbot Developer to join our team at our Chennai office. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of work experience, specializing in chatbot development and conversational AI. This is a full-time position where you will contribute to building intelligent bots that elevate customer experience across multiple messaging platforms.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Dialogflow, RASA, and Microsoft Bot Framework (Mandatory skill) with demonstrable project experience developing chatbots on these platforms.
  • Strong understanding of natural language processing concepts and techniques to deliver intelligent and context-aware chatbot solutions.
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs to extend bot capabilities and connect with external systems and enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with bot frameworks and familiarity with the entire lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring.
  • Ability to work with any chatbot platform, demonstrating adaptability and a solution-driven mindset to address client requirements.
  • Solid programming background in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or equivalent, applied to chatbot development and automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of menu-driven and intent-based flows, and ability to utilize rich media features for dynamic and personalized user interactions.
  • Strong problem-solving, logical reasoning, and analytical skills to enhance bot performance and resolve technical challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional solutions on time.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-performance chatbots on platforms such as Dialogflow, RASA, and Microsoft Bot Framework to meet enterprise needs.
  • Collaborate with product, UI/UX, and backend teams to design engaging conversational flows and seamless digital customer journeys.
  • Integrate chatbots with internal and third-party APIs, ensuring robust data exchange and automated business transactions across messaging channels.
  • Optimize natural language understanding and processing mechanisms in bots to deliver contextually relevant and personalized user experiences.
  • Monitor and analyze chatbot performance, applying analytics to refine responses, track user satisfaction, and implement improvements.
  • Support menu-driven flows, dynamic cards, and transfer to live agents as required, maintaining high standards of user engagement.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in conversational AI, messaging channel advancements, and process automation to incorporate best practices.
  • Provide documentation, technical support, and knowledge sharing within the team to facilitate continuous innovation and quality enhancements.
