Key Responsibilities:
A. Companies Act, 2013:
- Ensure timely compliance with Company Law requirements including AOC-4 and MGT-7A filings.
- Prepare and submit statutory forms such as Form 8 and Form 11.
- Oversee the compilation and submission of DPT-03.
- Handle share capital alterations and related corporate restructuring matters.
- Perform periodic bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare, maintain, and review Books of Accounts.
B. Goods and Services Tax (GST):
- Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-1A, and GSTR-3B accurately and within deadlines.
- Prepare and file annual GST returns such as GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
- Process CMP-08 returns and manage GST refund applications.
- Handle LUT claims and coordinate with relevant authorities regarding GST refunds.
C. Income Tax:
- Compute and prepare advance tax payments.
- Process TDS deductions and file corresponding returns.
- Compute taxable income and prepare Income Tax Returns (ITR).
- Manage income tax refund processes.
- Perform MAT (Minimum Alternate Tax) calculations and ensure compliance.
- Analyze and manage deferred tax liabilities in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
D. FEMA Compliances:
- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations and manage related filings, reporting, and audits.
E. Bookkeeping:
- Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records and update accounting systems.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank and expense reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with valid membership.
- 6 months to 1 year of professional experience in statutory compliance, taxation, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Hands-on experience with the Companies Act, 2013, GST, Income Tax, and FEMA compliance.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, financial reconciliation, and accounting software.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
