Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant located in Surat. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for statutory audits, internal audits, risk advisory services, and corporate advisory. The role also involves handling income tax compliance, GST, litigation support, and advising on company law matters, restructuring, and regulatory compliance.
Additionally, the Chartered Accountant will support startups with guidance on fundraising, business structuring, government subsidies, and project finance.
Key Responsibilities
Income Tax:
- Filing of income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and companies.
- Handling income tax assessments, notices, and litigation matters.
- Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients.
GST:
- Managing GST audits, notices, and litigation.
- Advising clients on GST compliance, refunds, and input tax credit optimization.
Compliance Management:
- Ensuring overall statutory compliance for Income Tax and GST.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation for audits and assessments.
- Coordinating with clients and government authorities for smooth compliance.
Client Advisory:
- Providing expert guidance on tax planning, GST optimization, and regulatory changes.
- Conducting client meetings to review compliance status and suggest solutions.
- Advising businesses on corporate law, restructuring, fundraising, and financial structuring.
Qualifications
- Experience in statutory audits, internal audits, and risk advisory services.
- Strong knowledge of income tax compliance, GST, and litigation support.
- Expertise in corporate advisory including company law matters, restructuring, and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of government subsidies, project funding, and financial structuring.
- Ability to provide guidance for new ventures, fundraising, and business structuring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
