Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in New Delhi. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and maintenance of financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, cash flow reports, MIS reports, and management summaries to support business decision-making. The role involves handling taxation (direct and indirect), GST and TDS compliance, return filings, and coordination with statutory and internal auditors. The Chartered Accountant will support budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and inventory-related accounting, while ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to company policies. The role also includes liaising with banks, consultants, and regulatory authorities, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA), with an active membership in the relevant professional body.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance (including GST, TDS, and income tax).
• Hands-on experience with bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP tools, along with advanced MS Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control, preferably in the FMCG, retail, or beauty/cosmetics sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits, coordinate with auditors, and maintain strong internal controls and documentation.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
• Ability to work on-site in New Delhi and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
