Role Summary
The Chapter Manager Quality Engineering will lead the organization's quality strategy, automation maturity, and QE capability across multiple product teams. This role is responsible for driving continuous testing, embedding quality into CI/CD pipelines, building high-performing QE teams, and ensuring reliable, high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the Quality Engineering strategy and roadmap
- Lead test automation across UI, API, and performance testing
- Build and manage the QE chapter (QA, SDET, Automation Engineers)
- Drive shift-left testing and CI/CD test integration
- Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and SRE teams
- Track and improve quality metrics such as defect leakage and automation coverage
Required Skills & Experience
- 12+ years in Quality Engineering / Test Automation / SDET roles
- Strong experience with automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Proven people management and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
Nice to Have
- Cloud testing experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Performance testing tools (k6, JMeter, Webload etc)
- Experience in large-scale distributed platforms
