About the Role
The
Channel Manager Business Planning Acquisition is responsible for driving the acquisition of CASA products and cross-sell initiatives across designated geographies. Based in Mumbai, the role involves planning, executing, and monitoring channel strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. The Channel Manager acts as a key liaison between central teams and on-ground leadership, enabling effective execution, capability building, and continuous improvement in acquisition performance.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver and monitor acquisition targets for CASA and cross-sell products across assigned geographies.
- Plan and design channel execution strategies, proactively monitor progress, and initiate corrective actions when needed.
- Provide sales enablers, define sales processes, and support activities that enhance channel performance.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of products and services in line with defined standards and regulations.
- Drive central initiatives, campaigns, and cross-product opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Act as a business change manager by providing insights, supporting leadership with performance reviews, and recommending course corrections.
- Define KRAs/goalsheets for front-end teams, simplify execution processes, and ensure clarity of expectations.
- Create content and training resources in collaboration with stakeholders to build frontline capabilities.
- Plan and execute Rewards & Recognition programs aligned with business dynamics.
- Identify market opportunities and coordinate with product, process, and sales teams to introduce relevant enablers.
- Develop and promote special products or promotional offers tailored to specific markets or events.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local and central leadership to drive business outcomes and stakeholder alignment.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality across the branch network.
- Monitor business growth and execution against defined plans and targets.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. Specialization in Business Management, Marketing, or Banking is preferred.
Experience
- Proven experience in channel management, business planning, or sales strategy within the banking or financial services industry.
- Experience in managing cross-functional initiatives and working with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Exposure to CASA acquisition and cross-sell strategies is highly desirable.
