GSPANN is hiring a Change Request (CR) Consultant Lead to manage CR lifecycles, release planning, and CI/CD-driven deployments across Development, QA, and production environments.
Role and Responsibilities
- Establish and govern the Change Request (CR) lifecycle, including intake, assessment, prioritization, impact analysis, and approval through the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
- Define and manage release calendars, release scope, cutover plans, rollback strategies, hotfixes, and emergency releases.
- Own Development (DEV), Quality Assurance (QA), and Production (PROD) environment management, including topology control, data refreshes, Lifecycle Services (LCS) environment requests, sandbox provisioning, and configuration baselines.
- Build and manage Azure DevOps pipelines, including branching strategies, build validations, automated testing, and coordinated deployments using LCS and package deployment tools.
- Enforce quality and risk controls by ensuring code reviews, test evidence, user acceptance testing (UAT) sign-off, and compliance with SarbanesOxley (SOX) and IT General Controls (ITGC) where applicable.
- Drive defect triage, monitor release health, manage incidents, and lead post-release hypercare activities.
- Maintain release documentation, including release notes, CR logs, deployment runbooks, and environment inventories.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and chair CAB meetings.
Skills And Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
- Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 or Azure DevOps are an added advantage.
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience in Change and Release Management for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations and/or Customer Engagement).
- Apply deep expertise in Azure DevOps tools, including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, LCS, solution and package management, and build or release automation.
- Possess a solid understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Git-based branching strategies, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and test automation frameworks.
- Understand Dynamics 365 customization models, including extensions, X++, plugins, and Power Platform solutions, along with their deployment lifecycles.
- Bring proven experience executing cutovers, coordinating data migrations, and managing environment refreshes.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements through segregation of duties, control enforcement, and audit-ready documentation.
- Exhibit strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills when working with cross-functional teams.
