Mid-Level CGI Artist- Texturing, Lighting & Retouch Artist
Job Summary
We are looking for a
talented and detail-oriented Texturing & Lighting Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have strong visualization skills, an eye for realism, and solid experience in texturing, lighting, and rendering workflows to produce high-quality visual outputs for product, environment, or marketing assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop physically accurate materials and textures using PBR workflows.
- Create high-quality lighting setups to produce realistic renders.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in lighting, shading, materials, and rendering workflows.
- Perform UV unwrapping and maintain clean, efficient UV layouts for optimized texturing and rendering.
- Produce photorealistic renders for products, interiors, exteriors, or environments.
- Develop, refine, and optimize lighting, texturing, shading, and material setups for realistic visualization.
- Perform image retouching and post-production to enhance final outputs.
- Maintain consistent visual quality and studio standards across all projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of renders while meeting project deadlines.
- Collaborate with modeling and production teams to achieve the desired final results.
Software Requirements
- Autodesk Maya
- Autodesk 3ds Max
- Substance Painter
- Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of render engines such as V-Ray, KeyShot, Arnold.
Requirements
- 25 years of experience as a Texturing Artist / Lighting Artist / Rendering Artist.
- Strong understanding of PBR workflows, shading, and rendering pipelines.
- Good knowledge of UV unwrapping, material creation, and rendering optimization.
- Understanding of post-production and image enhancement workflows.
- Strong portfolio showcasing photorealistic rendering and texturing work.
- Good sense of composition, detail, lighting, and photorealism.
