CFO || CA || Manufacturing Startup - Series B funded || upto 60 LPA

We are hiring for a CFO - based out of Chennai for a series B funded manufacturing startup. The person should be a qualified CA with 15 years of PQE and should have exerience raising funds. The detailed JD is as shared below:

Strategic Finance & Growth:

● Partner with the CEO and Board to shape the company's capital structure, fundraising strategy, financial risk management, and long-term growth planning.

● Support M&A initiatives, strategic partnerships, market-entry assessments, and the evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities to accelerate business expansion. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

● Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while driving business unit performance management aligned with growth targets and key performance indicators.

● Collaborate with business, operations, and product teams to translate market dynamics into actionable financial insights and develop pricing strategies across business segments and sales channels. Fundraising, Treasury & Capital Management

● Lead equity and debt fundraising initiatives, including the ownership of financial models, investor materials, secretarial processes and due diligence processes.

● Build and manage strong relationships with venture capital investors, strategic partners, banks, and financial institutions.

● Drive effective treasury management by optimizing cash flow, working capital, and capital deployment across the organization.

● Assess working capital requirements and partner with banks and financial institutions to optimize debt funding and credit facilities as may be required. Finance Operations, Compliance & Governance

● Oversee the finance function to ensure financial accuracy, transparency, and compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Indian GAAP), GST, corporate tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

● Lead audits closures while strengthening internal controls and governance frameworks across the organization.

● Drive enterprise risk management practices and ensure adherence to corporate governance and compliance standards.

● Oversee the transition to Ind AS as appropriate at growth phase and being IPO ready. Procurement, Inventory & Operational Finance

● Work closely with procurement and operations teams to strengthen financial oversight of inventory planning, cost optimization, and supply chain efficiency.

● Provide financial leadership on production economics, cost management, inventory cycles, and margin optimization to support sustainable scaling of the business. Mentor existing finance function

● Provide mentoring and professional guidance to the in-house finance team.

● Take ownership of team's professional growth and development and maintain a lean and agile finance function
