About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to lead accounting, compliance, and financial reporting for US-based clients. This role requires strong technical expertise, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple clients and processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping for US clients
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage tax filings, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Review and ensure accuracy of financial data and reports
- Handle client communication and provide financial insights/advisory
- Identify process improvements and implement best practices
- Mentor and guide junior team members
Qualifications:
- US CPA certification (mandatory)
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, taxation, and compliance
- Proven experience handling multiple clients or accounts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Zoho Books, or SAP
- Prior experience working with US-based clients
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis
