Job Description

Goal of function: Provide guidance on Sales & Growth profit opportunities

Tasks

  • Provide action-oriented analysis on CE revenue, both from Regional and Product angles, and specifically on quantities and price.
  • Assessment of potential price increase opportunities, benchmarking regional performances and analyzing applied discounts Improve the cadence of Sales tracking and analysis, leveraging Lean tools to put in place DMS (Daily Management System).
  • Work closely with the regional leaders (finance and commercial) to enable having a good understanding of commercial funnel and how it will impact our revenue on a forward-looking basis
  • Provide analysis on Order and Backlog, with a specific focus on
  • Backlog depletion over time and aged backlog Analyze gross margin profitability, by geography and by product type, and communicate profitable growth opportunities to involved stakeholders
  • Define, maintain and communicate critical KPIs to improve Revenue and related gross profit, and embed these KPI into the DMS
  • Presentation to CE Management team of Commercial analysis, highlighting areas of strength and areas of improvement, and be the financial owner to articulate and track needed corrective actions
  • Directly interact during close and during planning cycles to ensure commercial metrics are properly reported and embedded into forecasting models

Qualifications, Experience, Know-how And Skills Critical For Success

  • Overall: management capabilities (people management, project management, priority setting, strategic mind set, proactivity)
  • Technical: Understanding of Profit & loss statements as well as Balanced sheet, Knowledge on relevant Financial KPIs and their interdependence and Management Accounting skills, IFRS skills.
  • IT: Microsoft Excel / Power Point, SAP (CO, SEM, AC), BI
  • Experience and exposure to commercial management and commercial strategy is required. Deep knowledge of commercial KPI, as well as experience in price management will be valued.
  • Previous experience in FP&A teams is required. Experience in externally reported business unit will be valued.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with business warehouse systems (e.g., BEx, SAP, etc.)
