In this vital role, you will collaborate closely with business partners, service owners, and IS peers to develop predictive models and actionable insights across Amgen's US Commercial Organization. You will leverage sophisticated analytics techniques to drive innovation and deliver significant business impact, supporting Amgen's mission to help patients access the therapies they need.
This is a flexible commuter role based in Amgen's India office, requiring on-site presence 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with multi-functional teams to systematically derive insights that create substantial business value for Amgen and its patients.
- Identify business needs and propose analytics-driven solutions.
- Design, implement, and oversee frameworks for measuring the performance of campaigns and tactics at a granular level.
- Lead measurement and tracking initiatives for various omnichannel Customer Experience (CX) enablement projects.
- Support the development of data science and machine learning prototypes, proof of concepts, and predictive models to test and optimize omnichannel strategies.
- Effectively communicate analytical ideas, project progress, and results to leadership and business stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field, OR
- Master's degree with 46 years of experience in data science and/or analytics, OR
- Bachelor's degree with 68 years of experience in data science and/or analytics, OR
- Diploma with 1012 years of experience in data science and/or analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience in campaign measurement, marketing analytics, and resource optimization within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS, and familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, MLib, TensorFlow).
- Experience handling large datasets and distributed computing tools like Spark and Hive is a plus.
- Strong ability to communicate complex analysis clearly, practically, and effectively.
- Demonstrated passion for continuous learning and staying current with advanced analytics techniques.
- Prior experience in biotech or pharmaceutical domains.
