Job Title: CCR Operator
Function: Production / Plant Operations
Department: Manufacturing
Reporting To: Shift In-Charge / Production Supervisor
1. Operations
- Undertake coordination with field personnel from CCR (Central Control Room) for smooth operation of the plant.
- Measure various process parameters along with the Shift In-Charge.
- Record process parameters and plant log for the respective section.
- Inspect specific parameters on a regular basis and perform any extra duties assigned by the Shift In-Charge.
- Monitor the quality of products Raw Meal, Clinker, and Cement and maintain quality within the defined QMS range.
- Maintain good coordination with the laboratory for quality feedback and follow non-conformity procedures when products deviate from standards.
- Execute necessary precautions and lock-outs as per safety procedures.
- Take readings of plant parameters (tour log), energy, and gas; perform basic chemical water analysis.
- Conduct periodic functional tests on plant systems.
- Perform administrative tasks related to data reporting and standard operating procedures.
- Check the plant regularly, report malfunctions to the Shift Supervisor, and generate work requests.
- Conduct proper shift turnovers and ensure effective transfer of operational information.
- Suggest improvements to plant operations and procedures.
- Supervise loading and unloading of chemicals from/to trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the control room and other operational rooms.
- Monitor availability of operational consumables and report deviations as needed.
- Take initiatives to drive growth for DCBL and ensure alignment with short-term and long-term organizational goals.
- Promote and support digitization and automation of plant processes.
- Utilize advanced business analytics tools to derive actionable insights critical to success.
2. Environmental and Health Safety (EHS) Responsibilities
- Ensure all operational activities meet or exceed regulatory standards for public safety, employee safety, and environmental compliance.
- Implement and comply with the work permit system; suggest improvements to the Safety Head.
- Report hazardous conditions in plant systems, work areas, and the general environment.
- Ensure that no environmental regulations are violated and report any related issues.
3. Self & Team Development
- Monitor and review team member performance; provide necessary developmental support.
- Execute the Individual Development Plan (IDP) for self and team members.
- Recommend training programs for team skill enhancement.
- Develop and update the team's knowledge base to meet organizational requirements.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve employee satisfaction and engagement within the function.
