Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or GNM Nursing degree
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Scrub Nurse
• Experience in cardiac catheterization procedures
• Proficiency in Malayalam language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, and other invasive procedures.

Ensure a sterile environment and adherence to infection control protocols.

Conduct thorough pre-procedure patient assessments and obtain relevant medical history.

Monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to interventions.

Educate patients and their families about cardiac procedures, potential risks, and post-procedural care.

Provide instructions on medications, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.

Respond promptly and effectively to emergent situations during procedures.

Implement appropriate interventions in collaboration with the Cath Lab team.

Administer medications, including conscious sedation, as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor patients for potential medication side effects and complications.
