Experiences is Scapia's category for bookable travel activities, tours, and curated
things-to-do at 1000+ cities across the world . It enables users to discover and book guided
tours, adventure activities, cultural experiences, day trips, and more, directly within the
Scapia app. As a high-engagement, high-intent surface, Experiences is a key growth lever
for GMV expansion and deepening user LTV on the platform.
As a Category- Sell Side for Experiences, you will play a critical part in driving the growth
and success of Scapia. You will be responsible for identifying and capitalising on growth
opportunities, developing strategies, and managing the category to achieve business
objectives for the Experiences category.
Key Responsibilities:
1. P&L management: Developing & implementing topline strategies for immediate &
long term which includes driving right selection, portfolio mix and margin
improvement
2. Strategy & Market Understanding: Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and
competition to identify new innovations and opportunities
3. Selection design, ops & pricing: Understanding selection deeply and building
selection design strategy along with managing catalog operations for execution.
Developing the discounting & offers policy, identify opportunities for giving customers
value through intelligent and limited offers
4. Building top of mind for category: Working closely with central marketing teams to
drive growth by leveraging & identifying marketing opportunities in-app & off-app to
engage users
5. Stakeholder management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams including
product, design, marketing, CX to prioritise development and enhancements.
What you'll need:
You would be expected to demonstrate deep customer centricity, strong analytics, sharp
planning and story-telling coupled with product/tech understanding for an enhanced
customer experience.
2+ years of category management/ selling in consumer tech businesses
Undergrad or MBA Graduate from Tier 1/2 school is preferred
Strong communication and influencing skills
Very strong bias to action
Hunger to work hands-on in a fast-paced start-up environment
