About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Category Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of category sales strategies. This role involves owning the category's P&L, identifying growth opportunities, driving customer engagement, and collaborating across teams to deliver business results. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep market understanding, and a proven track record in category or salesmanagement.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for course planning, pricing and Strategizing, scaling and managing the partner

collaboration model.

Responsible for managing the topline of your vertical.

Build relationships with top Instructors.

Identifying and executing initiatives to boost growth, driving margin improvements and delivering top notch customer experience.

Understanding the category in depth and designing analytical insights into consumer buying pattern.

Manage deployment and quality service providers.

Manage relationships with existing service providers and consumers.

Creative local marketing strategies and user growth campaigns.

Working with the product team to create great user experience for that category.

Working with the marketing team to generate customer requirements.

Rolling out partner collaboration processes and ensuring that your team adheres to the SOPs.

Team Management: Expected team size at full capacity: 50+

Knowledge, Skill and Experience for the Role

2+ years of experience in managing multiple hierarchy teams of 10+ employees (experience in

managing multi geography teams is a plus) in account management/online advertisement sales or

sales operations.

Experience in starting and scaling large high-performance teams.

A total of 5+ years of experience (candidates with lower but relevant experience in managing large account management/online advertisement sales or sales operations teams can also apply).

Experience in e-commerce and consumer internet industries is highly desirable.

Highly analytical and data driven.
