About the Role
We're looking for a Category Manager to lead the development of one of Snabbit's newest business categories. This is a 0→1 role where you'll work at the intersection of customer insights, business strategy, operations, and growth to build a category that can scale nationally.
You'll define the category strategy, identify customer opportunities, work cross-functionally to launch and optimize offerings, and drive business performance from day one.

What You'll Do
- Build and scale a new business category from the ground up.
- Develop category strategy based on customer insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Define assortment, pricing, positioning, and go-to-market plans.
- Partner closely with Product, Operations, Marketing, Supply, and Finance teams to launch and scale initiatives.
- Track key business metrics including revenue, growth, profitability, customer adoption, and retention.
- Identify new opportunities for expansion and continuously improve category performance.
- Drive experiments, analyze outcomes, and make data-informed business decisions.
- Own end-to-end category performance and contribute directly to business growth.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in Category Management, Business, Growth, Strategy, or General Management.
- Proven experience building or launching new categories, businesses, or product lines.
- Strong commercial and strategic thinking with an ownership mindset.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and solve complex business problems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate insights into action.
- High bias for execution and willingness to get hands-on.
Preferred Background
- MBA or equivalent degree from a Tier-1 institute such as IIMs, MICA, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, or other leading business schools.
- Experience in high-growth startups, consumer internet, e-commerce, quick commerce, D2C, marketplaces, or consumer businesses.
- Prior experience building a category from scratch or scaling an emerging business is highly preferred.
