From online vet consultations with our team of highly experienced in-house veterinarians to nationwide doorstep delivery of an extensive assortment of pet supplies sourced from India and across the globe, we ensure unparalleled convenience and care. Taking the next step in our journey,

Supertails has expanded into veterinary clinics and grooming centers. This initiative directly addresses one of the largest challenges faced by pet parentsaccess to reliable, high-quality healthcare and grooming services for their furry companions. At Supertails, we're not just delivering products; we're building trust, relationships, and a healthier, happier life for pets and their parents.

What you will do: As Category Manager Clinics,

you will drive the growth charter for Supertails clinic vertical. This is not an operations role you'll be focused on growth strategy, category and service optimization, clinic-led demand generation, and cross-functional initiatives that enhance revenue, patient footfall, and service adoption. You will work closely with City Managers (operations) and Process Excellence (SOPs, efficiency), ensuring your strategies are executed seamlessly at the ground level.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Growth Strategy & Execution a. Define and execute growth strategies to meet revenue and patient volume targets for each clinic. b. Develop and launch new service lines, offers, and packages to attract and retain customers. c. Conduct market, customer, and competitor research to identify untapped growth opportunities. d. Tailor growth initiatives at a city/clinic level in collaboration with City Managers

2. Category & Service Management a. Own the clinic services portfolio from consultations to diagnostics to grooming and ensure competitiveness, adoption, and profitability. b. Launch and scale clinic subscription plans and wellness packages. c. Optimize pricing, promotions, and bundling based on customer needs and business goals. d. Track service performance and improve mix based on utilization, feedback, and impact.

3. Growth Enablers & Merchandising a. Identify what to pitch, how to pitch, and when to pitch across the patient journey. b. Own in-clinic merchandising strategy including POS materials, pitch collaterals, and offers. c. Train field and clinic teams (via City Managers) on pitch strategy, upselling, and experience enhancement.

4. Insighting & Experimentation a. Deep-dive into funnel data, user feedback, and no-show/drop-off behavior to generate insights. b. Leverage NPS, CSAT, post-visit feedback, and vet observations to identify service improvement areas. c. Collaborate with the Process Excellence and Clinical teams to turn insights into pilots. d. Run experiments (pricing, communication, service design), monitor outcomes, and scale wins.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration a. Collaborate closely with teams across user growth (acquisition, retention, branding), ecommerce merchandising, product, process excellence, clinical leadership, and operations. b. Manage external relationships with diagnostic vendors, referral partners, and retail suppliers to expand service offerings and increase reach. c. Lead regular performance reviews and share actionable insights with leadership and cross-functional teams.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • a. Track and own KPIs like revenue per clinic, footfall, AOV, conversion, subscription attach rates, and repeat usage.
  • b. Maintain a weekly/monthly growth dashboard for leadership visibility.
  • c. Present insights, test learnings, and next-step plans during cross-functional reviews.

Pet parent (not owner)

4+ years in growth, category management, or business roles within healthcare, consumer, or service industries.

Strong analytical mindset with a bias for action and experimentation.

Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

Proven ability to launch and scale new initiatives from scratch.

Clear and structured communication with an ability to convert insights into business impact.
