BricknBolt is a managed marketplace providing construction services. We are category creators and front-runners in space. We are solving one of the most complex business problems and creating an ecosystem of trust for the Stakeholders, Customers, Construction professionals, and Material vendors. Construction has been a highly unorganized and severely tech-deficit industry globally. We are just not trying to organize but disrupt the industry completely using technology and process - creating the playbook for the industry.

● Indian real estate is earmarked to be a $650 billion market in 2025 and a $1 trillion worth sector in 2030. With 85%+ construction still unorganized in India, Brick&Bolt is on a path to capture the massive and super-broken market using our technology and processes.

● Expanding to more than 12 cities in 15 months. With the Series A2 round, Brick&Bolt has raised a total of $16 million. Earlier Sequoia Surge, Foundamental, HDFC Capital Advisors Limited and Stride Ventures have invested in Brick&Bolt. In Jan 2023, we raised Series A2 Funding of $10million from Accel and Celesta Capital.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Category Manager to drive growth, revenue, and performance across multiple commercial asset classes such as office spaces, Schools, co-working and etc. The role involves owning category P&L, driving supply-demand balance, optimizing pricing, and ensuring strong execution across markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end performance of assigned commercial asset categories
  • Drive revenue, margins, and overall category profitability
  • Monitor key metrics like occupancy, yield, and sales velocity
  • Build and manage supply pipeline
  • Ensure demand generation through collaboration with sales and marketing teams
  • Maintain optimal inventory mix across asset classes
  • Develop pricing strategies based on market trends, demand-supply dynamics
  • Optimize yield and maximize revenue per asset
  • Work on discounting strategies and commercial negotiations
  • Identify new markets, micro-markets, and asset opportunities
  • Lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new categories or cities
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research
  • Work closely with developers, brokers, channel partners, and internal teams
  • Align with sales, marketing, finance, and operations for execution
  • Manage external partnerships and negotiations
  • Build dashboards and MIS reports for leadership
  • Identify gaps and drive corrective actions
  • Streamline category processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure seamless execution from onboarding to closure

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

  • MBA / Business / Engineering background preferred
  • 4–8 years of experience in category management, commercial business, or real estate
  • Experience handling P&L or revenue ownership is a must
