Job Description

Job Title: Executive / Senior Executive - Cataloguing

Experience: 2 years - 4 years

Location: Chennai

Core Responsibilities

  • Catalog Hygiene & Platform Accuracy (Primary)

Ensure all Live Product Listings On:

    • Quick commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart)
    • Marketplaces (Amazon, Big Basket, etc.)
    • SKC D2C (App + Website)are visually correct, updated, and consistent
Regularly Audit Listings For:

    • Wrong images
    • Old packaging
    • Incorrect claims or callouts
    • Missing or misaligned creatives
Flag and fix discrepancies quickly by coordinating with internal teams or platform managers

  • Creative Asset Archive & Documentation

Maintain a central Archive Of:

    • All active packaging mockups
    • Lifestyle images
    • Catalog images (platform-wise versions)
Ensure:

    • Clear versioning (latest vs deprecated)
    • Easy access for design, marketing, and ops teams
Track what is live where at all times

  • Design Coordination & Execution Support

Work Closely With The design Team To:

    • Create uniform catalog images for different platforms
    • Adapt creatives as per platform requirements (QC vs D2C vs Marketplace)
Coordinate For:

    • Lifestyle mock creation
    • Seasonal or campaign-led visual swaps
Ensure final outputs match brand guidelines and platform specs

  • Brand & Compliance Hygiene

Ensure:

    • Correct product names
    • Accurate ingredients, pack shots, and labels
    • No incorrect or outdated claims in visuals
Act as a final hygiene checkpoint, not a decision-maker on claims

  • Day-to-Day Ops Support

Support Launches, Relaunches, And Pack Updates By:

    • Swapping creatives on time
    • Updating catalogs without delays
Maintain Master SKU Documentation Related To:

    • Images
    • Packaging references
    • Platform-specific requirements
What This Role Is NOT

  • Not a brand strategy role
  • Not a creative ideation or copywriting role
  • Not responsible for campaign concepts
  • Not accountable for performance metrics

This role is about execution quality, consistency, and discipline.

Skills & Traits We're Looking For

Must-Have

  • High attention to detail (non-negotiable)
  • Comfort working with multiple assets and versions
  • Ability to coordinate smoothly with designers and marketers

Basic Understanding Of:

    • E-commerce / quick commerce environments
    • Image requirements for platforms
Good to Have

  • Experience handling product catalogs or digital assets
  • Familiarity with Google Drive / DAM systems / Excel trackers
  • Exposure to FMCG or food brands
