Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Photography (E-commerce Focus)

Shoot high-quality catalog images with consistent angles, lighting, and framing.

Capture product details, textures, finishes, and scale accurately.

Follow the established catalog photography guidelines and help maintain them.

Ensure colour accuracy and true-to-product representation during shoots.

2. Shoot Preparation & Setup

Prepare products for shooting cleaning, sorting, verifying SKU match, ensuring no defects.

Arrange and maintain shoot surfaces, props, stand-ins, turntables, and other catalog tools.

Handle repetitive shooting tasks with consistency and attention to detail.

3. Workflow & Coordination (Without Retouching)

Organise RAW files and selects, ensuring correct naming, tagging, and folder management.

Share selects with the retouching team with clear notes when required.

Perform basic QC checks on final images received from retouching alignment, angles, dust removal, colour consistency.

4. Studio Management

Maintain catalog-specific equipment light tents, small product lights, reflectors, stands, acrylics, and macro gear.

Keep the catalog zone organised for efficient daily shooting.

Manage batteries, memory cards, cleaning tools, and small accessories.

What We're Looking For

02 years of experience in product or e-commerce photography.

Comfort with controlled studio setups for small products.

Understanding of lighting techniques ideal for metal, shine, reflections, and close-up work.

Familiarity with camera settings for sharpness, depth of field, and consistency.

Basic Lightroom knowledge for selecting and exporting (no retouching required).

Strong attention to detail, patience, and precision catalog work needs consistency over speed.

Ability to follow structured workflows and maintain documentation.

Nice-to-Haves

Prior jewelry photography experience (huge advantage).

Familiarity with macro lenses or small-product setups.

Basic understanding of e-com requirements for marketplaces and brand websites.

Interest in improving process efficiency.
