What would you do We help insurers redefine their customer experience while accelerating their innovation agenda to drive sustainable growth by transforming to an intelligent operating model. Intelligent Insurance Operations combines our advisory, technology, and operations expertise, global scale, and robust ecosystem with our insurance transformation capabilities. It is structured to address the scope and complexity of the ever-changing insurance environment and offers a flexible operating model that can meet the unique needs of each market segment. You would be part of General Insurance team for Actuarial Domain, In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems for General insurance team. Performed analysis, validation of client data and making it ready for the valuation purpose after making all the reasonability checks. Performed sensitivity analysis by varying different assumptions to get a measure how much liability changes in case assumptions got changed. Understanding and management of property and casualty insurance companies that provide insurance against the loss of real property, tangible assets and/or income.
What are we looking for
- Expert on programming either with C#/.NET or Python is required. Demonstrated experience and wiling to learn new programming languages and framework o Expert knowledge in server-side programming o Expert knowledge in integrating with REST API in high performance and high availability environment o Expert knowledge in database integration and handling large dataset o Hands-on experience with JavaScript and UI framework is required
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Stored Procedure database development (SQL Server, Oracle and other databases) is required; Experience handling large data bases and data files is required
- Good software engineering principles to develop optimal code with minimal defects
- Willing to support production deployment and priority production issues in a timely
- Practical knowledge of production considerations, such as version control, code libraries, source control systems, documentation, code reviews, using testing methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to think independently and creatively
- Experience with responding to production business queries and issues in a timely manner
