We are looking for a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator (DBA) with 7+ years of experience to join our Bangalore team.
The role requires expertise in database administration, performance tuning, and high-availability solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
- Ensure database security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide support for production systems.
- Implement automation for database maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server installation, configuration, clustering, and replication.
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience with backup/recovery strategies, high availability (Always On, Mirroring, Log Shipping).
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation tools.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
